Fast finish! try it!

From the beginning, I made my profile as a sneaky guy who can shoot nicely and has nice technical skills. Didn't bother on medic and explosives. I got Ira (don't know if it even has to?) and waited untill i could hire Gus Tarballs for 2 weeks. started walking. I went south and right of San Mona..left of Cambria..Than to the left of the map to the coastline. From there, i sneaked through every sector walking near the borders of the screen (there is usually no-one there). Always make "a little train of mercs, with Gus in front..he spots all mines. When arrived in sector O3, I continued sneaking south. When I was at the bottem of sector O3, I finally shot my first guy..that gave me a minimi and access to the cellar. With the minimi, it's too easy to shoot your oponents if an experienced guy like Gus is shooting it on auto-mode..I got into the cellar, killed some dudes..found Deidranna and...well, got sorry I didn't play the rest of the game again, and went back with Ira in! front of the door of Deidranna :)) really :))

Take good care of your green/blue boys

First: never allow a good site to be attacked without you having at least one merc there; and forget Auto-resolve.
Second: beside the obvious advantage of taking part in fight with your merc when you have a support team of 20 guns, he/she IS NEEDED. During/after the battle, your medical skill can save the DYING militia. But try not to break your neck for them. THEY are there to protect you not the other way around.
Third and last: you might have found out this already - enemy and sometimes militia drop much more items if you take part in the battle. My MD in Chitzena has 60 or so items gathered from 2, 3 fights. He's already considering if he should start a small business on-the-side. :)

Blitz-Krieg Works

In the beginning of the game, the enemy has poor guns and armour. It's about the only time when you can out-power them. In order to do this, have 3 teams ready. In a novice game, you can manage to hire up to 6 six mercs, 3 of them top-class. A squad should consist of a sniper (Lynx, Shadow, etc) and a support merc with some medical knowledge. Give your sniper only the minimum equipment (canteen and 1 extra clip of ammo). Have him climb on roofs before time-turns. The support merc should always take cover and watch out for the bastards that will try to attack from behind.
The three teams should attack at the same time, three different targets (I recommend Dressen, Cambria and the SAM's nearby Dressen).
You can also try a different approach, more sinister, but ok. Hire an expensive merc for a week and a cheap but good support team. Insure the top-gun. Give his guns and armour to your favourite guy/girl. Attack a tough enemy position. Most likely your star will be killed in battle and your favourite merc will gain some marksmanship points. You'll get some heavy-duty guns to start with and, most likely, an insurance refund for the rest of the days your ace was contracted.
PS: Do not try this without precaution. The AIM mercs could refuse to join your team and/or the insurance company could smell something fishy and pay you nothing.

Watch out where you leave your mercs

Moving your mercs in map mode may cause you a big headache. When you leave the mercs to sleep ot train militia, the computer places them randomly on the map (usually on the edge of the screen). When the enemy attacks your location, those mercs are sitting ducks, unless you have some militia to protect them (really, the militia act like kind of bodyguards of their trainer, just watch them in fight). So, before leaving, make sure your mercs have taken cover.

Bloodcat Pelts, Claws, Teeth are really quite valuable. But there's only one person who will buy these. Can you guess who he is?.. Well he's our old pal, the loved Irish arms dealer from Deadly Games, "Mickey". You might find him from one of the bars in Arulco, so keep your eyes open.

To earn some cash by killing, find Carmen. He can usually be found from the bars all around Arulco. Talk to him and offer your help. He gives you a disk, but you don't have to do anything with it. The file on the disk will be automatically transferred to your laptop. Now read the file to find out who you have to kill.

If you have a good hand to hand fighter or a merc with martial arts skill. Check out the
bar on D5 San Mona. Here's a good place to make some serious cash, easily and in a short amount of time. Just talk to Darren he will arrange you a fight. Darren can usually be found at the bar, but he's not there always.
