Escape the bloodcats

To escape without burning ammo and health on bloodcats go to sector. As soon as you are there, zoom out to map and continue as if nothing happened! Don't know if this works in patched versions.

Bloodcats won't enter teargas and you can use this to your advantage. Everyone travelling alone or in small groups should have a gas mask and a few tear gas canisters. If bloodcats ambush you just toss a grenade a step or two away and run into the gas cloud. The cats will run up to but not into the gas. Shoot at them from within the cloud and they can't attack back!

I just tried something and my idea was correct: I had Ira, Flo and Biff on a foot trip from Alma to Drassen at night (Not smart, I know). They were ambushed by Bloodcats near Drassen, since I could not hope to kill the 13 or so Cats with my Type-85s and M870 I decided to try something: I wanted to check if the Cats are afraid of water and guess what:
BLOODCATS NEVER ENTER WATER !!!
